The defects inspection cover issues ranging from tiles, painting, carpentry, workmanship, electrical, plumbing and more.
A typical inspection takes between 1.5 to 3 hours depending on the size of the property and if the unit is furnished.
It's not necessary for the owner to be present for the initial round of inspection. However, it is encouraged for the owner to be present during the joint inspection with BSC/MA.
You can expect to receive the inspection report within 2 working days after the inspection is completed.
We will compile and submit the reports to the relevant parties for rectification and you will be notified of the progress.
We know renovation is a tough and mentally tiring process. Therefore for a limited time only, if you book an inspection with us, we include a complimentary 3-month renovation consultation to ease the process and aim to alleviate your headaches.

In this interactive consultation, we will dedicate a platform between you and our staff to answer your questions and concerns with regards to your renovation, things to look out for and offer possible solutions for your home renovation.
A defects inspection should typically happen:
  • After HDB key collection for BTOs, when BSC is liable for rectification of defects.
  • After condominium hand over, in which the management should be informed of any defects.
  • After home renovation by IDs/contractors to check for any workmanship issues.
  • Before or after renting to a tenant to check for existing defects or any defects that may be caused by the tenant during their stay.
